There are many delightful short trips where you backtrack to the starting point or do a small loop. The following are some favourites:
Paved/hardtop/gravel, hybrid or mountain bike
1) On Government Rd., turn into Michael's Bay Rd. and follow the winding Manitou
River to beautiful Michael’s Bay and back.
2) Start in Sandfield and ride north to the East Rd. Follow this winding country road
through enchanting, mixed forest. Turn left onto Silver Bay Rd. and follow it all the
way to #542 where you turn left, & return to Sandfield. 23 Timberlane Rustic Lodge
3) Park behind the Valu Mart in Little Current and enjoy the view from Turner Park of
the harbour and the North Channel. Go east on Campbell St. turning left onto Sims St. which leads into Water St. To avoid traffic along the main business section, and see the boats, walk along the dock past the cenotaph. Continue cycling along Water St. To Low Island Park. Backtrack to Turner Park.

3) Wikwemikong Mountain Bike Trail:
MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK & TRAILS
Q) McLean’s Mountain Bike Park: 7km, Turn off #6 onto the New England Rd. The park is on your right (map on location).
S) Murphy Point Trail, 4.5km (one way), brings you through Mac's Bay Provincial
Conservation Reserve. You can find it 9km west of Evansville, on #540.
T) Baker Trail, 6.5km (one way), find description under the N Baker Trail Loop.
U) Mud Creek Trail, 9km (one way), find description under M Lake Kagawong Loop
V) Harron Trail, 3.5km (one way), connecting to Mud Creek Trail (Perivale/Kagawong). The trail starts at the junction of Cross Hill Rd. and Jerusalem Hill Rd. Watch for the sign.
